Wildflower Falls by Denise Hunter

September 8, 2023 | Book Reviews

Wildflower Falls by Denise Hunter is the final installment of the Riverbend Gap series. I’ve enjoyed all the stories and was happy that Hunter added a fourth novel.

What I Liked About Wildflower Falls by Denise Hunter

I loved Charlotte Simpson, the heroine of the story. She was such a good person and so wanted to carry on her mother’s legacy at the family ranch. Charlotte had so much love in her heart and wanted the Robinson clan to accept her into their family.

The hero, Gunner Dawson, was an interesting character. I liked him but he was harder to warm up to. I knew he’d suffered a tragedy that affected his ability to give his heart to others and enjoyed seeing his transformation.

Finally, I was able to catch up with what was happening with the Robinson clan. And this story really made me like them more than ever.

What You’ll Like About Wildflower Falls

I don’t need to say it, but I will. If you liked the other novels in the series, you’ll enjoy this one too. Hunter creates memorable characters that we generally always love, and she’s done it again here.

If you like a redemption story, Wildflower Falls has one and it’s a whopper. This thread in the novel was perhaps the most satisfying for me.

Final Thoughts

There are moments you’ll want to give Charlotte a hug. She’s faced grief and uncertainty and just keeps going.

Hunter is one of my favorite authors. I always enjoy her stories because the characters seem real. She’s delivered another memorable novel with Wildflower Falls.

I received an advance reader copy for review from Thomas Nelson through Netgalley. But as with all Denise Hunter books, I’ve ordered the paperback to add to my collection.
