Lisa's Story

Lisa Kelley caught the writing bug in the ninth grade when her English teacher encouraged her to enter a writing contest for an educational publication. Lisa’s entry was a winner, and she’s been writing ever since.

Lisa graduated from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock with a B.A. in Broadcast Communications and worked for a few years in broadcasting. She earned a master’s degree in Education from the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville and put it to use while working as a corporate trainer.

She’s employed full-time and writes in the evenings and on weekends. Lisa is the 2023 ACFW Genesis Award winner for Romance and is represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of The Steve Laube Agency. She writes inspirational, humorous romances.

A writer is always learning. Lisa is an active member of the American Christian Fiction Writers and participates in writing conferences and contests to hone her craft.

Lisa enjoys reading other great authors who inspire her, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. The pictures below are from some of her favorite places.
