Find Me in the Blooms

Find Me in the Blooms by Alyssa Schwarz is the second story in the Find Me in Jonathon Island series and it’s delightful. This is the first book I’ve read by Schwarz, but it won’t be my last.

What I Liked About Find Me in the Blooms

I’m sure if you’ve read my other book reviews, you’ll say that I always say this, but I really loved the characters. Lincoln St. James is a grieving florist, really an artist, who sees his dream jeopardized when a client besmirches his name on social media. Kate Sullivan is a burned-out photographer who has come home to Jonathon Island to rest. Except she ends up taking over the planning of the Apple Blossom Festival her sister should oversee except she’s on her honeymoon.

Lincoln and Kate have a past that left them both heartbroken. In fact, when Lincoln shows up as the headliner for the event, Kate wants nothing to do with him. But this is romance and as they work together to create an awesome festival, all those feelings they had for one another resurface.

One thing I liked most about the book was how Lincoln saw things as they related to flowers. This made the book so unique and interesting.

What You’ll Like About Find Me in the Blooms

If you like flowers and learning about them, you will be over the moon as you read the story. The descriptions are vivid, and readers will appreciate the beauty of nature.

This is a reunion story, though some might say second chance. But I read somewhere if the two main characters had a past relationship, then it was a reunion story. Second-chance stories involve different people. However you label it, just know the romance is sweet and satisfying.

Finally, there is a faith element woven in the story. God has a good plan for us, and we can live our best lives if we open our eyes and hearts to the unexpected.

Final Thoughts

This really was such a sweet story. Readers see a little more of Oliver from Find Me in the Story that will make you love him all the more.
