What I Liked About Expired Return

Expired Return is the first book I’ve read by Lisa Phillips. I always enjoy discovering new authors and the overall storyline is good. I liked Allen and Pepper and the adorable little girl named Victory. What a great name and it really fits this sweet kid.

There is definitely a lot of action that will keep you on the edge of your seat for most of the book.

What You’ll Like About Expired Return

If you’re a Lisa Phillips fan and have read the previous series, you’ll enjoy her new book. Also, if you like action, then Expired Return is for you. There’s romance for readers who love romantic suspense, but it’s light, which seemed natural because these people are trying to stay alive.

Final Thoughts

Since I haven’t read the Last Chance County series, I didn’t know any of the backstory. There weren’t any gaping holes critical to understanding the plot so for new readers like me you shouldn’t feel like something is missing. But this story piqued my curiosity and I wanted to know more about the previous books.

Expired Return has a sweet romance, great characters, and drama.
