Lisa wins ACFW Genesis Award for Romance
On August 26, 2023, Lisa won the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Genesis Award for Romance. The Genesis Contest offers unpublished Christian fiction authors feedback, direction, and discoverability. In her acceptance speech, Lisa acknowledged she could see God’s hand in everything that has happened so far in her writing career. “It’s too fantastic to be coincidence—the people God has placed in my life to help me, and the opportunities He’s given me over the last four years.”

You’ll Be Mine by Mandy Boerma and Rachel Hauck is the latest in the Hearts Bend Collection. The one word, I’d use to describe this book is sweet. What I Liked About You’ll Be Mine Camellia “Cami” Jackson and Ben Carter are great characters. I so enjoyed that they had known each other almost all their lives and the whole lifelong love story hit my happy spot. I also liked that their backstories were similar and the thing they needed most was to ask God for help and then let Him do his thing....
