Lisa wins ACFW Genesis Award for Romance
On August 26, 2023, Lisa won the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Genesis Award for Romance. The Genesis Contest offers unpublished Christian fiction authors feedback, direction, and discoverability. In her acceptance speech, Lisa acknowledged she could see God’s hand in everything that has happened so far in her writing career. “It’s too fantastic to be coincidence—the people God has placed in my life to help me, and the opportunities He’s given me over the last four years.”

Hidden Ranch Peril by Michelle Aleckson is an action-packed suspense with a sweet romance. I think this is Aleckson’s first romantic suspense book and she’s done a superb job on it. What I Liked About Hidden Ranch Peril I know I sound like a broken record sometimes, but once again it’s the characters that make this book. Talia Knowles is a character with whom I could identify.
