Lisa wins ACFW Genesis Award for Romance
On August 26, 2023, Lisa won the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Genesis Award for Romance. The Genesis Contest offers unpublished Christian fiction authors feedback, direction, and discoverability. In her acceptance speech, Lisa acknowledged she could see God’s hand in everything that has happened so far in her writing career. “It’s too fantastic to be coincidence—the people God has placed in my life to help me, and the opportunities He’s given me over the last four years.”

The Heart of the Mountains by Pepper Basham is a sequel to Laurel’s Dream. I love, love, love this series and have looked so forward to reading Jebediah McAdams story.
