Lisa wins ACFW Genesis Award for Romance
On August 26, 2023, Lisa won the American Christian Fiction Writer’s Genesis Award for Romance. The Genesis Contest offers unpublished Christian fiction authors feedback, direction, and discoverability. In her acceptance speech, Lisa acknowledged she could see God’s hand in everything that has happened so far in her writing career. “It’s too fantastic to be coincidence—the people God has placed in my life to help me, and the opportunities He’s given me over the last four years.”

I’ve been waiting for Lights Out by Natalie Walters to arrive and was excited to be a part of the launch team for it. Let me tell you, it’s a super book. It has all of the elements I like in romantic suspense. There’s plenty of action, solid characters, and a nice little romance. Action From the start, you’ll be intrigued. Something bad is about to happen, but you won’t understand the full extent of the crime until the end. The bad guys are very bad and seem to be one step ahead of our hero...
