Find Me in the Story by Lisa Jordan

Find Me in the Story by Lisa Jordan kicks off season two of the Jonathan Island series from Sunrise Publishing. Readers return to the idyllic island where romance abounds.

What I Liked About Find Me in the Story by Lisa Jordan

It may be crazy, but I loved the bookstore setting. I want an Island Bookstore near me. Oliver Sullivan’s love for books and reading to children won me over right from the start. A little grumpy, I couldn’t wait to see Eliza Quinn chip away at his gruff exterior. Eliza was a force to be reckoned with. You could feel her energy and enthusiasm to make the book festival a total success.

One thing I’ve enjoyed most about Susan May Warren and Sunrise Publishing books is that we get to see characters from other stories appear in new books. In this one, Logan Kingsley from Tari Faris’s Heritage world visits the island.

The theme for me was to let God take control of every situation. This is something I struggle with, and I enjoyed watching the hero and heroine come to this realization.

What You’ll Like About Find Me in the Story

If you’ve enjoyed the other novels in this series, you’ll like this latest one. You’ll see familiar faces again and enjoy Dani and Liam’s wedding. Another bonus in this novel is the return of the horses to the island.

This is a sweet romance where misunderstandings lead to some rash decisions, but overall it’s not filled with a lot of angst. Sometimes it’s nice not to have one problem after another hitting the characters.

Finally, the faith element is nice but not overdone. It’s what you would expect from a Sunrise book.

Final Thoughts

This series has really captured my fancy. Sometimes you need a break from intense situations, and the Jonathan Island series provides just that. The stories are clean and tender.
